Utahs Junior Miss Scholarship Program

Utah's junior miss scholarship program currently known as distinguished young women. Utah mission is to recognize utah's outstanding young women to award educational scholarships to deserving high school seniors and to promote the cultural arts and high moral values in youth. Approximately ninty percent of the organizations activities are devoted to the annual selection of utah's junior miss and awarding scholarships to qualifying recipients. Scholarship receipts are selected based on merit and must be enrolled in college or university studies in order to receive the scholarship award. Participants in the program are judged by an independent panel of five judges in the areas of scholatic achievement, interview, talent, physical fitnes and poise. The activity of selecting utah's junior miss and qualifying receipients take place annually.
