Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The organization was founded to put on a celebration for one weekend in June each year to commemorate the incorporation of West Valley City, Utah on July 1, 1980. Various activities have been added over the years so as to involve more people in the community.

WE ALSO RENT OUT BOOTHS FOR VARIOUS COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES, CRAFTERS AND ETHNIC FOODS FROM MANY CULTURES. ENT- TERTAINMENT IS PROVIDED ON TWO STAGES INCLUDING A TALENT CONTEST FOR DIF- FERENT AGE GROUPS WITH CASH PRIZES FOR THE WINNERS. THERE IS A PARADE ON SATURDAY MORNING, A FAMILY 5-K WALK, RUN, DUTCH OVER COOK-OFF, CLIMBING WALL AND FIREWORKS SATURDAY EVENING.
