Activity 2

Women and childrens services - the house of hope in provo intensive residential treatment for adult women, pregnant women, and therapeutic childcare for their children. The treatment program is designed for adult women ages 18 and up. Residential clients attend treatment during the day and learn parenting skills in the evenings and on weekends. The residential program offers 24-hour supervison for women working to reunify with their children, pregnant women, and women with up to three children under age of 9 who require stabilization and intensive substance abuse treatment. The focus of this program is to impact multi-generational cycles of abuse, child abuse, and family violence that negatively impacts individuals and families. Mothers are taught positive parenting skills and how to improve parent-child relationships. Services include assessment, group, individual and family therapy, parenting skills training, relapse prevention, social skills development, psycho educational classes, substance abuse education, case management, and therapeutic child care.

Activity 3

Ogden adult services - serenity house in ogden provides a 40 bed drug-free, co-ed, short-term, intensive residential substance abuse treatment program 30-120 days that serves northern utah outpatient services for adult men and women over 18 years of age. Day treatment and outpatient services are also available for clients who do not require residential treatment. Dui classes are provided here also. Services include assessment, group, individual and family therapy, parenting skills training, relapse prevention, social skills development, substance abuse educational classes, case managment, and aftercare services.
