The compensation committee establishes annual performance goals for the ceo and measures annual performance against these goals. Goals are largely based on the board approved annual plan. The compensation committee additionally evaluates market comparisons for ceos of similar non-profit organizations doing comparable work at a minimum of every three years and conducts third party market studies as part of this evaluation. The compensation committee evaluates total compensation including base salary, bonus (if any), along with insurance and retirement contributions as part of its market evaluation. The board establishes a budget average for annual performance based raises for all employees. The compensation committee may provide the ceo an annual performance based bonus and/or performance based annual salary increase annually but is not required to do so. The committee may also consider and implement market based changes in the ceo's compensation.”
