“The covid-19 pandemic has impacted us all including the well-being of millions of students and youth who are facing this unprecedented crisis and need immediate help. Unfortunately, we not only miss identifying students at risk, proactively but also understanding the roots of risk that push these students over the edge. Bringchange foundation inc. In collaboration with unicef, ministry of youth and with the piramal foundation in india is helping foster emotional resilience and well-being for over 1 million k-12 students in india and most of these students are from the remotest tribal areas of india, these tribal areas are resource constraint with minimal access to computers and internet. In the heartlands of odisha, jharkhand, and rajasthan states in india, something powerful is taking root in the remotest tribal areas. Through bringchange foundations ongoing collaborations, students in last-mile schools are learning to name their emotions, reflect with intention, and build the inner strength to face life with confidence. From digital emotion check-ins to gratitude circles and guided self- awareness activities, educators are nurturing emotionally intelligent classrooms, and studentsmany for the first timeare discovering that their feelings matter. This is a living blueprint for whats possible when compassion meets technology, and when systemic change is driven by purpose. As we continue this work across these three states, we see its potential to scale across every k12 school in india and globally building a future where emotional well-being is not the exception, but the expectation.”
