Form 990, page 2, part iii, line 4a- summary of achievements: the international brain research foundation has participated in multiple research studies and has generated numerous articles through our consortium of scientific advisors and investigators. These international collaborations have improved the ability to map the brain and target specific electromagnetic and chemical interventions through stimulation devices targeted neuropsycho-pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. In 2014, we have published in the specialty areas of autism, depression and suicide, concussion syndromes, severe traumatic brain injury and stroke, coma and disorders of consciousness and dysregulation of the brains autonomic nervous system. As an organization we continue to improve advanced neuroimaging capabilities to more precisely map out functional networks. We then strive toward regulatory and improving these networks by using multiple modulations to stimulate electromagnetic and biochemical activity. The following section outlines a number of studies published by our team of talented scientist and clinicians. Our work this year has been primarily in translational clinical research to develop new ways to treat complicated brain disorders. Ibrf background the international brain research foundation, inc. (ibrf) is a public charity that serves as a platform for support of, and collaboration with, leading neuroscientists and research institutions around the world. The objective is to create, operationalize, validate, and disseminate diagnostic and treatment protocols derived from innovative, novel research and translate those protocols into clinical practice for implementation with individuals afflicted with disorders, diseases, and injuries of the brain. Ibrf is committed to excellence in the neuroscience and is dedicated to promoting brain health. Historically, cures for brain disease, injury, and dysfunction have been typically slow in development. In the face of that challenge, ibrf seeks to accelerate the development of brain cures by supporting translational, clinical research that is state-of-the-art and innovative in its approach. By gathering an international cadre of experts, and utilizing a network of worldwide, multidisciplinary venues, ibrf is able to harness the brightest talent and”

AREAS OF FOCUS INCLUDE 1) THE CONTINUUM OF TRAUMATIC AND NON-TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY, WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO SEVERE DISORDERS OF CONSCIOUSNESS, COMA, BLAST INJURY, AND STROKE; 2) AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS; 3) THE AGING BRAIN (DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMER'S, MEMORY DISORDERS); 4) LEARNING AND ATTENTIONAL DISORDERS; 5) DEVELOPMENTAL BRAIN DISORDERS; AND 6) OTHER CHRONIC AND PROGRESSIVE NEUROLOGICAL/NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS. FORM 990, PAGE 2, PART III, LINE 1- BRIEFLY DESCRIBE THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION: IBRF'S MISSION IS MULTIFACETED, WITH A VISION TOWARD ADVANCING CUTTING-EDGE BRAIN DISCOVERIES FOR APPLICATION IN DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT. RESEARCH: TO ENCOURAGE, SUPPORT, DESIGN, CONDUCT, AND DIRECT NOVEL NEUROSCIENTIFIC RESEARCH STUDIES WORLDWIDE. EDUCATION: TO PROVIDE STATE-OF-THE ART TRAINING, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, LECTURE SERIES, RESEARCH PRESENTATIONS, AND CONFERENCES THAT SHARE GROUNDBREAKING RESEARCH FINDINGS AND NOVEL, THEORETICAL DIAGNOSTIC/TREATMENT PARADIGMS IN THE NEUROSCIENCES. TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT: TO DEVELOP NEW, INNOVATIVE BRAIN MAPPING, IMAGING, AND DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGY TO ADVANCE THE TREATMENT OF BRAIN INJURY, DISORDERS, DISEASES, AND DYSFUNCTION. INTERNATIONAL AND MULTI-CENTER COLLABORATION: TO CREATE HIGHLY FUNCTIONING NETWORKS OF COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH RELATIONSHIPS THAT CONNECT MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS OF INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS ACROSS A VARIETY OF RESEARCH AND TREATMENT VENUES.
