Provided virtual mentoring for the Somali Center Leaders for Life Program to provide financial aid and specific academic program guidance. In July we began to re-engage our members with in-person events beginning with an FBI SWAT demonstration and domestic terrorism presentation at the Gila River Arena. Our in-person Annual meeting was well attended with Sheriff Mark Lamb as a spirited and engaging speaker. Our mixers later in the year were also well attended. Maintained in person assistance to the FBI sponsored International CAP and Teen Academy programs. Chapter Priorities: Continue educating local communities and undertaking activities as outlined in the MOA, in consultation with the Phoenix local field office. The event was a follow-up meeting with 15 parents and students regarding school selection, financial aid, and general discussion of post high school education life and requirements. Edward Snowden was the quintessential insider threat that all organizations feared. During our first virtual event we heard the inside story of Snowdens last few months at NSA, the search for him, and the impact of his actions from his then boss, Steven Bay.
