Mission and Program Overview

Mission

Provide funds and materials to promote and educate the public concerning the delivery of pharmaceutical care. Support research and provide scholarship programs to deserving pharmacy students. Provide leadership development training to pharmacists and students. Create educational programming for pharmacists, enabling them to meet the demands for pharmaceutical care services and continuing education requirements for license renewal. Pharmacists assisting pharmacists (papa) drug intervention and rehabilitation program for substance abuse. Provide other public and professional services to advance education, research and the delivery of pharmaceutical care.

The arizona pharmacy foundation exists to: 1) povide funds, materials, and recources to educate the public regarding the role of the pharmacist on the health care team; including the proper use of prescription medictions and the use of those medications to improve patient care. 2) provide funds, materials, and resources to the pharmacy profession in order to further pharmacy research, pharmacy residency prorams, student scholarships, and leadership development. 3) provide necessary support to assist any health care professional, professional student or licensed support staff with alcohol and/or chemical dependency.
