Our mission is to provide life changing care to women and families seeking long term recovery from addiction and ptsd, by supplying housing, basic needs and social services.

Contemporaneous documentation for the board of directors meetings is maintained as minustes of meetings and is available upon request. There were no committee meetings during the year of 2023 to document.

A board member that is a cpa and prior shepherd inn bookkeeper extensively reviewed the return (prepared by an independent cpa), collaborated with the executive director and the preparer on significant issues and provided documentation of the review. The final draft was provided to the executive director and board members for approval.

Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12C

The shepherd inns bylaws in article viii, conflict of interest policy, section 8, applies to any director, principal officer, or member of a committee. They must disclose any personal or financial interest or arrangement, directly or indirectly, through business, investment, or family, that might benefit the private interest or result in a possible excess benefit transaction and/or be construed as in conflict with the organization. The section describes the process and procedures for duty to disclose, determining whether a conflict of interest exists, addressing the conflict of interest, violations and appropriate corrective actions and records of proceedings.
