The advancement in data analytics as a tool to review, dissect and ultimately develop strategies to help improve athletic performance has been a growing field over the past 10 years, reserved mainly for privileged communities and thereby adding to the disadvantages of lower-income athlete populations. Whether it is golf, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, track and field or any other sport, the development of technology to advance performance is an ever-growing field to navigate and it is creating inequitable results. Most pre-collegiate athletes from lower socio-economic demographics rarely have access to these developmental tools due to access barriers including cost, geography and lack of education. MOST PRE-COLLEGIATE ATHLETES FROM LOWER SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEMOGRAPHICS RARELY HAVE ACCESS TO THESE DEVELOPMENTAL TOOLS DUE TO ACCESS BARRIERS INCLUDING COST, GEOGRAPHY AND LACK OF EDUCATION. AN ATHLETES PERFORMANCE IS INFLUENCED BY A NUMBER OF KEY AREAS INCLUDING STRENGTH, SPEED, AGILITY, RECOVERY (MEDICAL/DIET), COORDINATION AND MENTAL STRENGTH. EACH OF THESE AREAS ARE EXPLODING WITH TECHNOLOGICAL CONCEPTS THAT FURTHER DEVELOP THE PERFORMANCE PROFICIENCY OF AN ATHLETE.
