| IRS990/Desc | 0 | MEALS TO GO In Fiscal Year 2024, the Meals To-Go Program at Together We Achieve provided free, nutritious, ready-to-eat meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The program is designed to meet the immediate needs of community members who may not have access to cooking facilities or stable housing by offering meals that require no preparation. Over the course of the year, a total of 15,040 meals were served. To reduce costs and extend resources, many of the meals were prepared using pantry staples already available through our food assistance programs. In addition, the program benefited from collaborations with local businesses and community organizations that helped prepare and serve meals on select days, enhancing both variety and capacity. The Meals To-Go Program remains an essential part of Together We Achieves comprehensive approach to hunger relief, rooted in dignity, accessibility, and community partnership. |

The pantry offers a dignified, self-guided personal shopping experience, allowing clients to select their own food, household, and hygiene items based on their needs and preferences. Importantly, there is no limit on how often a household can visit, ensuring flexible, barrier-free access to assistance during times of hardship. To further support accessibility, the pantry also offers curbside service and limited home delivery for those who are homebound or face mobility challenges. Using Feeding Americas standard metrics for pounds-per-meal and estimated retail value, the total economic impact and savings to families served through the pantry in FY2024 is estimated at approximately $1,642,492. These outcomes reflect Together We Achieves commitment to equitable, compassionate, and community-driven service delivery. |

Each box weighed an average of 42 pounds and included ingredients needed to prepare a traditional holiday meal for a family of four, along with pantry staples to sustain households during extended school breaks. Families registered in advance and picked up their boxes during scheduled distributions. Looking ahead to 2025, Together We Achieve is leading a collaborative effort with other area food pantries, church pantries, and school-based pantries to expand the impact of this program regionally. This partnership, which began development in 2024, aims to reduce duplication of services and increase the number of families served by coordinating registration and distribution efforts.
