Organizing Empowerment Fund Inc.

Organizing empowerment fund (oef) is organized to encourage everyday people across the country to become more civically engaged, that is, become more involved in the activities and decisions made in their communities that address social issues and promote quality of life. Oef provides support to organizations, and works with them to develop and implement relational organizing plans that fit into their larger mission, as well as provide them with the training they need to develop and apply core skills in their volunteers.

To encourage and support increased participation in voting and the democratic process, and increased civic engagement generally, by the poor, and other undeserved populations, by providing material support in the form of staff, training, and technological solutions, to community based organizations and other 501(c)(3) non-profits working with those individuals and towards those ends.
