Snyder Ditch Company

The past, present and future activity of the Snyder Ditch Company, a Colorado non-profit mutual ditch company organized under the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act, C.R.S. 7-42-101 through 7-42-118, is to provide irrigation water service to the Snyder Ranch in Hinsdale County, Colorado. The main activities of the company are to maintain and repair the structures necessary to divert and deliver water through the F.S. Mockler Irrigation Ditch and the Cimmaron Ditch to provide irrigation water to the Snyder Ranch, and all lands lying under these ditches. These activities further the exempt purpose of a mutual irrigation ditch as delivery of irrigation water is the primary purpose of a mutual irrigation ditch company. The maintenance and upkeep of these water structures is necessary for the continued efficient and safe operation of the ditch for the purpose of delivery of water for irrigation purposes.
