In 2020, rca foundation was established as a nonprofit, due to the increased substance use and mental illness during the coronavirus pandemic. Located in montgomery, al, rca foundation inc provides face-to-face as well as telehealth services with the capability to provide behavioral health and su services throughout the entire state of alabama. Since inception, rcaf has become a highly preferred provider in rural underserved counties such as lowndes, conecuh, crenshaw, butler, dallas and monroe.rca foundation is the premier provider for the 2nd and 35th judicial drug court in lowndes county. We provide telehealth assessments and treatment services to court connected individuals. Telehealth services have been extended to seven days weekly to accommodate working individuals who can only receive services on the weekends. Our staff is comprised of a nurse practitioner, three licensed clinicians, four masters level therapists and one certified peer support specialist. Currently we offer the following: prevention, treatment, and recovery services: prevention education, individual, family and group therapy; case management; community referral and linkage; psychoeducation, treatment planning and peer services.we understand how barriers in life can prevent individuals from having access to necessary adult mental health and substance treatment. This is why we have an array of services for families and individuals coping with substance abuse and mental health challenges in the community. From individual therapy to family therapy, there are so many options availabe in our bid to make access to behavioral and mental health care very easy. Our services are delivered in a respectful and compassionate environment. It is perfect for those who desire to be served in private and in an environment they find most comfortable. We understand the stigma and fear that comes with getting mental health and substance treatment in our community. This is why we hope to bridge the gap between the general community and our patients.
