This year is the continuation of our fund-raising efforts to secure a facility to open a therapeutic foster care for neglected and homeless children. We still have our free food distribution from the urban garden in Atlanta, but still focused on securing and developing the foster care. This will include training classes for dealing with neglected children, purchasing a building to house the children and staff, and acquiring the permits and legal licenses to conduct a program like this out of our facility. Ms. Charan-De is presently in a vocational training program with AARP. They have her working at the 300 person homeless shelter runned by Salvation Army Red Shield organization. MS. Charan-De is learning how to manage, cultivate and organize a large group of homeless and distressed single men, women and families. Ms. Charan-De is having a brilliant experience at Salvation Army homeless rescue center. She is learning vital character-building skills to help people

“Charan De Inc Food-For-Life program distributed 1,000 boxes of fresh produce to families throughout the Atlanta Georgia, costing $3,500. Over 500 Vegetarian cook books were also distributed for donations if the families had the funds, this costed $500 for the books. Charan De "Food-For-Life" program is a aspect of our business that we sell fresh fruits and vegetables, and other healthy food products to our community. We usually set-up our food distributions at local festivals, city parks, and some homeless shelters; however with the on-slaughter of the Coronavirus, everything has been put on hold. Kaushalya consulted with advisors and her board members on how to survive this Pandemic. When the bus service was suspended in our community because of the virus, we decided to expand our project to delivering groceries to family homes. Charan De's first step in organizing this program is to establish an very secured interactive website and phone service that are able to process credit, debit and food-stamp cards for our customers to purchase fruits and vegetables and our other healthy food products.”

Our future plans are to establish our first Therapeutic Foster Care facility for neglected, abandoned or homeless children in Georgia. VISION AND MISSION Charan De Inc. Therapeutic Foster Care Centers are focus on helping children heal from "the-inside-out" and find "screened" and loving families to adopt them. There will be monthly gardening in the back yard, cooking classes, music and dancing sessions, as well as social-etiquette and first-aid training. Even though this sounds like a whirlwind of activities, there will be quiet time for all the children to rest and self-absorb what they are being taught. All activities will be done with respect and love.”

Over 500 Vegetarian cook books were also distributed for donations if the families had the funds, this costed $500 for the books. Charan De "Food-For-Life" program is a aspect of our business that we sell fresh fruits and vegetables, and other healthy food products to our community. We usually set-up our food distributions at local festivals, city parks, and some homeless shelters; however with the on-slaughter of the Coronavirus, everything has been put on hold. Kaushalya consulted with advisors and her board members on how to survive this Pandemic. When the bus service was suspended in our community because of the virus, we decided to expand our project to delivering groceries to family homes. Charan De's first step in organizing this program is to establish an very secured interactive website and phone service that are able to process credit, debit and food-stamp cards for our customers to purchase fruits and vegetables and our other healthy food products. |

Our future plans are to establish our first Therapeutic Foster Care facility for neglected, abandoned or homeless children in Georgia. VISION AND MISSION Charan De Inc. Therapeutic Foster Care Centers are focus on helping children heal from "the-inside-out" and find "screened" and loving families to adopt them. There will be monthly gardening in the back yard, cooking classes, music and dancing sessions, as well as social-etiquette and first-aid training. Even though this sounds like a whirlwind of activities, there will be quiet time for all the children to rest and self-absorb what they are being taught. All activities will be done with respect and love. |
