“Once a draft of the 990 is provided to farm to table, inc. By cpa, a copy is provided to the finance committee or board members for their review, questions and comments. Any questions and/or comments are addressed by staff. If further clarification is needed it is sought of the cpa. Once the members are satisfied with the draft 990, they formally vote to recommend approval and approve the finalization, signing and submittal of the 990. The chair and/or treasurer of the board sign the 990. The approval is captured in the formal minutes of the finance committee or board of directors meeting. If approved by the finance committee, the 990 is shared with the full board who ratifies the approval at its next meeting.”
