“Nami of santa fe accomplishes its mission with the following goals: 1.promote the well-being of people with mental health conditions and their families by offering nami signature programs and information regarding mental health treatment, and related support services. 2.establish regularly scheduled meetings where families, people with mental health conditions, and friends can come together to share experiences, discuss problems, explore solutions, and extend mutual support. 3.abolish stigma and discrimination by providing programs to counter all negative references, characterizations and misrepresentations of mental health conditions. 4.collaborate with local mental health organizations to promote a comprehensive and coordinated community support system. 5.evaluate legislation and government regulations affecting people with mental health conditions to further nami's mission. 6.provide education and support to empower people to live healthy, fulfilling lives. 7.advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and quality care in our programs and activities. 8.foster greater awareness and understanding of mental health and mental health conditions.”
