“A complete copy of Form 990 and a copy of the financials statements are provided to each Director for a review period of at least ten days. Comments, questions and observations are addressed by the preparer, revisions are made as appropriate and, once concurrance is achieved, the Form 990 is filed.”

“The Foundation will provide copies of tax returns, financial statements and governing documents; upon request, at the offices of the Foundations accountant - Troy Hays CPA, 1400 North Kentucky, Roswell, New Mexico 88201. The Foundation also registers with, and provides all financial statements and Form 990, to the New Mexico Attorney Generals Office. Such information is accessible by the public.”

“The financial statements are prepared annually by a Certified Public Accountant (Troy Hays LLC, CPA). Troy Hays is also a member of the Board of Directors and therefore, is not independent and is not compensated.”

The Foundations contributions to the Roswell Public Library, in every year, of every kind, nature and amount, were for purposes requested and justified by the management of the Library (City of Roswell, NM).”

“Purchased book set for a Library Book Club which were catalog and loaned out to other community book clubs. Purchase business-related books, magazies and newspapers for the Library collection. Improved the Childrens area with art that designed to teach about math and science. Funded a Play and Learn area in the chidlrens area that teaches literacy skills through play. Partnered with other community organizations to offer NEA Big Read Events. Funded a school readiness program Raise a Super Reader for preschool children encouraging them to read 1,000 books and do 1,000 activities before beginning school. Funded a year-round program for students K-6 Be a Super Reader Funding for the Roswell Public Library to create a three-year strategic plan.”
