“Primary exempt purpose: at al-ihsan girls school and orphanage, we are a dedicated team of professionals working towards creating a brighter future for underprivileged women and children. Program service accomplishments: 40 more orphans were added to the orphanage in 2022 and the total number of orphans is now 82. 8 orphans left the orphanage after receiving their basic education and skills training. 5 orphans got married in 2022 and started their family life with dignity and honor. 5 widows are sheltered to serve the orphans as well as learn their basic education and skills training. Al ihsan delivers everything correctly and on time to all the resident orphans including the books, copies, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, geometry boxes, etc. Orphans are provided 4 sets of dresses per year, including an outfit for eid, and all toiletries and feminine products were provided. They are also provided three meals and two snacks every day. Individualized attention was given to weaker students. Al ihsan gave prizes every month to the students who performs best and earned the most stars. The sick students were treated and all other students were routinely checked on their physical. Educational tours were offered at dream holiday park and safari park. Each groups top three competitors in the yearly sporting events received alluring rewards. Some students who have received their first and second doses who havent taken it before. Students were offered appealing prizes for bengali, english, and arabic spelling tests every three months. A book reading competition was conducted. On a quarterly basis. Students were encouraged hands-on ict training. Projector-based multimedia lessons were given. Students learned to bake and made their own snacks afterward. Vocational training is provided to students. Many students make their own and their classmates gowns from scratch. A lot of american sponsors have visited the orphanage. The student communicated with their sponsor through video conference. The students all participated in the annual sports and picnic with great enthusiasm last year. The annual backing competition was held last which was a great success. 3 trained students joined as paid trainers at the school to train others. 5 outgoing students started their own self-employed business in tailoring.”
