The potentially interested persons made a presentation to the board. After the presentation, the interested person left the meeting during the discussion. On both cases the 6 other board members voted unanimously positively on the transaction or arrangement involving the possible conflict of interest, in SMM's best interest.”

“Share My Meals started its Waste Watcher Program in January 2020 in collaboration with Princeton University eating clubs. With the lockdown under Covid 19, the organization had to adapt and expand its operations overnight and therefore launched its Covid19 Program. While its original meal suppliers temporarily closed their doors, four local restaurants agreed to prepare meals at their cost of goods. It was a win win solution since it allowed the restaurants to keep some staff members employed while also supporting the local community.”

“Those expenses relate to the cost of meals bought by Share My Meals to local restaurants under its Covid19 Program. The meals purchased are delivered for free to food insecure individuals and families in the Princeton Area.”
