“Opened two sober living facilities currently, 20 individuals reside at summit healing, and ten individuals are on the waitlist. Without summit healing, most of these individuals would be homeless, unable to comply with community supervision, and left without access to behavioral health services including medication management. Due to participants involvement in the justice system coupled with mental health symptomology summit healing participants face barriers when seeking gainful employment such as a lack of education, vocational skills and job training. A high school diploma or access to ged test preparation and testing services would not only increase participant's self-efficacy but remove barriers to enrollment in vocational training, college, and employment. Additionally, recovery coach training and certification would not only help participants advance their own recovery it would provide a viable source of employment while advancing their education summit healing has established relationships with local crisis stabilization units to ensure that residents in need of crisis intervention have access to immediate care and intervention. Summit healing partners with all health behavioral networks who provides telehealth services and assertive community treatment to individuals residing at summit healing. To ensure that summit healing is meeting residents needs ongoing program evaluation is provided by clarity research group. Recently, summit healing was awarded a contract by the state court administrators office which will allow summit healing to accept sober living vouchers for clients on probation in the 1st, 2nd, 17th, and 18th judicial districts. The majority of the participants will already have a treatment referral to one of the local community providers. Summit healing partners with addiction research and treatment services (arts) and mile high behavioral healthcare (mhbhc). Both organizations are members of the signal behavioral health quality monitoring committee and comply with state licensing requirements. Mhbhc, founded in 1960, has served over 250,000 individuals. Mhbhc provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to a variety of underserved populations, and provides a path for clients to become strong, healthy, and self-sufficient. Arts is the clinical program of the division of substance dependence at the university of colorado school of medicine and provided outpatient, empirically-supported substance abuse treatment for 40 years, with an emphasis on justice-involved individuals. The mat program at arts, guided by the latest in scientific evidence, specializes in buprenorphine products and methadone treatment for opioid use disorders.”
