Open New York Inc

Open new york is a grassroots non-profit working to solve new york's housing crisis. We advocate for policy changes across the state that will allow for more housing options in every neighborhood. Open new york believes in homes for all and homes (continued on schedule o) of all types - from social and government-subsidized housing to market-rate options. Our vision is a state where housing laws and policies support inclusive, stable communities, not exclusive neighborhoods and unaffordable living. Through advocacy and organizing, open new york is committed to a better new york that is affordable and accessible to all.

The organization believes in housing for all, housing of all types, and support for more social housing, government subsidized housing, and market rate housing. Open new york advocates for affordability and accessibility for everyone and for an end to exclusionary zoning and homebuilding policies.
