“In response to COVID 19 pandemic Border Kindness opened and operated a free medical clinic. The clinic provided free medical care, PPE, medicines, medical supplies and more to any individuals requesting. Border Kindness also paid health care expenses for community members. Border Kindness distributed approximately 200,000 free masks to community. Border Kindness also provided extensive food and nutritional support to various communities, including operating a food bank, grocery days (where/when safe and possibile) and provided emergency funds to individuals and families.”

“Border Kindness temporarily adjusted onsite support programs because of COVID-19. These changes were made to ensure all in need continued to have access to food, medicine and clothing, but such access and distribution was done in a safe manner.”

During the inital months of pandemic (March-July 2020) PPE and other items were purchased at higher than normal prices due to shortages and demand.”
