The harvest project exists for the purpose of fulfilling the commands of christ in mathew 28:19 & 20 "go therfore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all that i have comanded you. And behold, i am with you always, to the end of the age.- and romans 10:14 & 15, "how then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,how beautiful are they feet of those who preach the good news" "going" consit of living abroad among unreached people groups. Learning language is a key component to thriving while living in another culture and should be focal upon entering the new host country. Proper language acquistion will also aid in relationship building in order to share the gospel and serve unreached people groups. Options for relationship building may include, but not be inclusive of: living amoung unreached people groups in order to develop relationships and invest in people, bible studies, discipleship building, planting chruches, opening a business (agriculture, artisan bakery, fine woodworking, teaching etc.).”
