Mission and Program Overview
Mission
String Insiders' mission is to inspire violin, viola, and cello students through online and in-person connections to teachers, peers, and a wealth of information that challenges and encourages them in their growth as a musician and helps them achieve the career of their dreams by being innovators, artists, and entrepreneurs. String Insiders serves over 200 students a year with the programs for high achieving students. Based in Dallas, Texas, the programs serves musicians across the world both online and in-person at our one- and two-week programs.

| The Online Solo Strings Intensive (OSSI) is a two-week-long program for classical music students approximately 15-28 years old. Students will take part in daily workshops/seminars as well as receive private lessons, watch or participate in masterclasses, and play in studio classes. The Intensive's goals are not only to expand the musical knowledge and prowess of each participant, but to deepen their understanding of classical music through seminars and workshops and to connect serious musicians across the globe to each other by facilitating a robust environment for developing classical musicians. OSSI is conducted online, bridging the gap for low-income students and significantly reducing costs for musicians to be able to study intensely with the best professors in the United States. The curriculum focuses on the technical ability required for musicians, and the other skills needed to create a successful career, such as health & wellness, chamber music, time management, and more. | $3,500 | $56,790 |
| The In-Person Strings Intensive (IPSI) brings talented students from around the metroplex and around the country to Dallas, TX to enliven the vibrant arts & culture of the Bishop Arts District. Students come to study with world-class faculty, increasing their artistry and developing their talents. The program is one week long and students tackle learning one major work in that short timeframe. Both faculty and students give public performances around the area - some traditional concerts and some outreach events.
