The mission of SAVE is to voluntarily make ourselves available, with the help of God, as instruments of agape love to the people of Sierra Leone, maintaining a healthy balance between social action and evangelism: a combination of relief and relationships. The specific purposes of SAVE are understood within the context of the Christian faith and community: 1. To minister to the spiritual, educational and physical needs of the people of Sierra Leone 2. To provide support to existing Christian ministries in Sierra Leone 3. To heighten public awareness of the great needs in Sierra Leone 4. To encourage and facilitate personal and practical involvement in meeting these needs 5. To commit time to pray for the church and the nation of Sierra Leone
