Business office personnel receive additional training on conflicts of interest and are responsible for bringing potential conflicts of interest to management's attention.”

“In 2015, a new Executive Director was hired. Her compensation was established through negotiations, and was ultimately approved by the Board of Directors. The negotiating committee consulted several sources of compensation data, including Guidestar and salary surveys, in making a salary recommendation to the Board. No performance review was conducted in 2015 insofar as the new Executive Director had not yet completed a full year of employment. However, her first performance review was conducted by the Board of Directors in early 2016. The Interim Executive Director performed the annual performance reviews for senior staff and approved changes to their 2015 compensation that resulted. The Board of Directors also adopted a new Compensation and Performance Evaluation Policy in early 2016, which applies to both the Executive Director and other senior staff of the organization. As part of this change in 2016, a salary benchmark study was completed and will be revisited every two to three years.”
