other programs and resources to educate families,emergency workers and the medical community about Burn prevention & care including intervention treatment programs for juvenile firesetters. The foundation also provides funding to hospital burn centers and other burn related activities.

Pt III, Line 31

Program service accomplishments:Burn & fire victim assistance through working with Denver Children's Hospital Burn Center for fire prevention, education, and providing an annual children's burn camp. The Burn Foundation provides full scholarships for children to attend these camps as well as supporting firefighters who volunteer thier time as counselors and staff.The camp is designed to continue the long-term healing process once the patients have left the hospital. Summer and Winter camps offer all the activities and adventures of traditional camps and allow children to meet others who have gone through similar experinces.

Other

Denver Firefighters Burn Foundation conducts several events annually to raise money for the organization's exempt purpose. All proceeds received are used to pay operational expenses and fund the organiztions's primary exempt purpose.

The Burn Foundation provides full scholarships for children to attend these camps as well as supporting firefighters who volunteer thier time as counselors and staff.The camp is designed to continue the long-term healing process once the patients have left the hospital. Summer and Winter camps offer all the activities and adventures of traditional camps and allow children to meet others who have gone through similar experinces.
