The mental health professionals peer health assistance program is funded by the colorado board of addiction examiners, colorado board of marriage and family therapists examiners, colorado board of licensed professional counselor examiners, colorado board of psychologist examiners, colorado board of registered psychotherapists, and the colorado board of social work examiners.”

In december 2015, the state of colorado, department of human services (cdhs), issued program audit findings for a period ending at june 30, 2015. Cdhs recommended that the state of colorado seek to recover funds in the amount of 290,181. Cdhs also issued a demand for repayment of funds paid to two subcontractors of the organization in the amount of 121,881. The organization contested the findings, cdhs's compliance with the contracts and its contract interpretations and all demands for repayment. A complaint was filed by the organization and a trial date in denver district court was scheduled. On april 12, 2018, management settled with the state. The organization had no finding of wrongdoing and settled for less than their estimated contingency.”
