Activity 2

Rural philanthropy days: crc works with the anschutz family foundation and rural communities throughout colorado to produce rural philanthropy days with the following goals: gain access to resources, increase organizational capacity and provide networking opportunities. These events provide private and public funders, who are mostly based in the front range cities, the opportunity to travel to rural communities in order to experience and learn about these communities,their cultures, and their nonprofit organizations. Rpd events have resulted in millions of dollars being invested in rural communities and the expansion of regional collaboration. There are eight rural regions and two of these host two-day events each year.

Activity 3

Leadership: since 1990 this program has helped participants develop self-confidence, expand leadership capabilities, and master new management techniques to make a significant difference in their organizations and their communities. This year long course is highly interactive and the curriculum focuses on leadership and management issues that are relevant to operating an effective nonprofit organization.
