By resolution adopted by a majority of the directors then in office, the board of directors may designate from among its members an executive committee which, to the extent provided in the resolution establishing such committee, shall have and may exercise all of the authority of the board of directors, except as prohibited by statute. One-third of the number of members of the executive committee fixed in accordance with these bylaws shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any meeting of the executive committee.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Arapahoe house is a non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes is made for federal, state, or local taxes. Arapahoe house applied a more-likely-than-not measurement methodology to reflect the financial statement impact of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. After evaluating the tax positions taken, none are considered to be uncertain; therefore, no amounts have been recognized as of june 30, 2018. If incurred, interest and penalties associated with tax positions are recorded in the period assessed as interest expense. No interest or penalties have been assessed as of june 30, 2018.
