Since the subsidiaries are for-profit corporations, AHC-Holy Cross Corporation and AHC-Sierra Madre Corporation are subject to federal and state income taxes at the applicable corporate rates. AHI Development, LLC and AHI Trust, as a sole member LLCs, report their income on the AHI Form 990. AHI follows the Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes accounting standard which requires the organization to determine whether a tax position (and the related tax benefit) is more likely than not to be sustained upon examination by the applicable taxing authority, based solely on the technical merits of the position. Archdiocesan Housing, Inc. does not reimburse CCCS for the President or CFO compensation as services provided directly by the CFO and President are insignificant.
