Horn Creek is a high mountain Christian camp and conference grounds that intentionally stewards the glory and majesty of God's creation to create an environment for life change through community, teaching, and encouragement. With over 50 years of ministry experience, Horn Creek continues to be a place where lives are changed by the encounter with God that people experience here through dynamic community, challenging teaching and the wonder and majesty of His creation

The Executive Director/Chairman of the Board is partial owner/principal in a corporation (Impact Generations) that provides management services to HCCG. The Executive Director functions as part of the management team and all major decisions go to the full Board for approval. Although not paid to Impact Generations in 2013, HCCG did accrue $72,000 in fees to Impact Generations.

Annually, the organization's directors and officers are required to review the conflict of interest policy. Directors and/or officers with any conflict of interest are precluded from participating in any voting or approving on matters where a conflict exists.

Interest and penalties, if any, are included in expenses in the statements of activities. As of December 31, 2013, Horn Creek had no uncertain tax positions that qualify for recognition or disclosure in the financial statements. Horn Creek's federal Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax Form 990 for the years ended December 31, 2012, 2011, and 2010 are subject to examination by the IRS, generally for three years after they were filed.
