Coordinators serve 8 schools and over 500 students annually, including intensive support for children in the Alternative Learning Center and truancy intervention. They host small groups to address bullying prevention and grief Aggression Replacement Therapy. There is concrete support provided for basic needs such as transportation, housing, clothing and utility assistance for students and families. These initiatives allow schools to focus on education rather than the behavioral, mental health, and social needs of students and families.
