Mission

C.H.A.N.G.E. serves underprivileged families through community mobilization, community-based education, mentoring, and resources. All the services offered helps families survive and thrive. Some of the services we offer are: tutoring, mentoring, food pantry, clothing closet, utility assistance, re-entry services, senior programs and more.

We are proud to announce that we have recently opened our Kloset Cubbies Store. This store allows youth, newborn-18 and college student with an ID, to receive 4 free items a month. In addition, this store is an extension of our clothing closet. Those can include clothes, shoes, jewelry, toys, books, and more. This store is located in our local mall (Eastdale Mall). We have served over 600 people through this store/program.$0$5,000

Youth Empowerment and Education: After-School Education Program: Weekly evidence-based educational classes for youth ages 12-18, delivered at the West End Boys and Girls Club. Topics include substance abuse prevention, self-esteem development, underage drinking, and peer pressure. Participation is encouraged through incentives, fostering engagement and retention. Youth Leadership, Mentoring, and Tutoring: Through mentorship and tutoring for young men ages 10-18, this program develops leadership skills, promotes community involvement, and provides academic support, scholarships, and assistance with college enrollment. Over 80 youth participate annually. 2. Support for Vulnerable Populations: Care Package Assistance for Single Mothers: Over 107 single mothers affected by the pandemic received essential care packages, with ongoing donations distributed through partnerships with 10 community organizations. Donations to Unhoused Individuals: Collaboration with the Salvation Army has resulted in donations of over 500 pairs of socks to support individuals experiencing homelessness. 3.
