Mission

Rappahannock communities (rc) will engage in activities that build a healthier and more resilient rappahannock county. Our mission is to work collaboratively toward the creation of lasting solutions for at-risk families, children and individuals in rappahannock. Rc will advocate for a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the heath, well-being and stability of those it serves. The organization will undertake the following projects and goals in a manner that is designed to accomplish one or more purposes within the meaning of the 501(c)3.

BUSINESSES HAD TO BE BASED IN RAPPAHANNOCK AND SERVE THE COMMUNITY. BUSINESSES FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTY DOING BUSINESS IN THE COUNTY WERE NOT ELIGIBLE. BUSINESS LOCATED IN THE COUNTY BUT DOING BUSINESSES OUTSIDE OF THE COUNTY WERE NOT ELIGIBLE. A FINAL LISTING OF ALL GRANTEES WAS GIVEN TO THE BOARD.
