“Elizabeth Stoll, the Founding Director of the Western Institute for Advanced Study, gifted six companies to the non-profit research institute. These LLCs have limited assets, including trademarks, trade knowledge, websites, domains, and bank accounts holding minimum balances. These Gifts were accepted by the Board of Directors. The Gift Agreement ("Agreement") was signed on February 1, 2023. The Companies may be retained and operated within a larger aggregate of similar activities or within a larger complex of other endeavors that is related to the exempt purposes of the Organization, with the goal of furthering scientific research and contributing to human well-being. The companies include: Scienx Holdings LLC, which owns and licenses intellectual property; Triskelion Press LLC, which is a publisher of books; Conifold Consulting Services LLC, which provides expert guidance on technical or scientific issues; Conifold Counseling Services LLC, which provides expert training on psychology for human health and in organizational contexts; Neokythera Industries LLC, which is engaged in research related to computation; and Numiera Life Sciences LLC, which is engaged in research related to cancer.”
