| Other programs initiatives - 1 Data Collection & Program Evaluation - During the past fiscal year Dad Guild developed and implemented a new data collection system to begin taking more accurate demographics of the populations served better measure the impact the organization is having and to analyze which programs are most impactful. This project also involved conducting surveys and interviews to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. Approximately 125 dads participated in the information gathering. The expenses for this project were $17,223.72 with all $17,223.72 coming from grants; 2 Diversity Equity & Inclusion DEI Work - In order to ensure all community members have equitable access to the health benefits those participating in Dad Guild programming experience the organization has been heavily involved in DEI work. This work has included monthly coaching from a DEI coach supporting local mutual aid efforts that are focused on dismantling systems of harm and oppression and working with community partners to increase engagement from members of the community who are not participating as much in the Dad Guild community. Expenses for this project were $10,750 with $21,500 coming from grants the remaining $10,750 will be used in the first half of FY 23-24; 3 Anti-Violence Work - Dad Guild often collaborates with Vermont organizations focused on violence prevention and supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence with the understanding that promoting a version of masculinity that is rooted in love empathy and vulnerability is crucial to disrupting generational trauma and harm. This project also involved conducting surveys and interviews to gather both quantitative and qualitative data. Approximately 125 dads participated in the information gathering. The expenses for this project were $17,223.72 with all $17,223.72 coming from grants; 2 Diversity Equity & Inclusion DEI Work - In order to ensure all community members have equitable access to the health benefits those participating in Dad Guild programming experience the organization has been heavily involved in DEI work. This work has included monthly coaching from a DEI coach supporting local mutual aid efforts that are focused on dismantling systems of harm and oppression and working with community partners to increase engagement from members of the community who are not participating as much in the Dad Guild community. Expenses for this project were $10,750 with $21,500 coming from grants the remaining $10,750 will be used in the first half of FY 23-24; 3 Anti-Violence Work - Dad Guild often collaborates with Vermont organizations focused on violence prevention and supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence with the understanding that promoting a version of masculinity that is rooted in love empathy and vulnerability is crucial to disrupting generational trauma and harm. Work has included facilitating workshops and participating in a podcast project. Expenses for this project were $831.60 with $2,500 coming from grants. |
