Mission

The organizations purpose is to strengthen the communities of bloomington, monroe county and the neighboring regions of south central indiana, and improve the economic conditions of its lower income residents, by assisting community development financial institutions and other organizations to provide low-cost, accessible, flexible, affordable financing for housing, job development, charitable and educational services and other community projects.

To improve the economic welfare of bloomington, in, and surrounding areas by helping local community development projects access flexible, affordable capital from community development financial institutions (cdfis) or other organizations.
