Art Camp 504

ART CAMP 504 is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. Art Camp 504 offers art workshops that emphasize our unique culture of New Orleans. Our mission is to shape the next generation of innovators and creative problems solvers by giving young artists the skills and confidence they need to reach their innate potential. We inspire students to think outside the box by teaching experimental art forms and mixed media across disciplines. Our curriculum builds confidence and self-esteem, and challenges young artists to get their creative juices flowing. Students build team-building skills through collaborative group work. Our goal is to make high quality art education accessible to all children, regardless of their income level, by providing need based scholarships.

Art camp 504 provides 8 weeks of summer camp and holiday art workshops for children ages 7-13 at our two locations: 1) the tigerman den in the bywater and 2) art klub in st. Rochester. Our mission is to shape the next generation of creative problem solvers by giving young artists the skills and confidence they need in order to reach their innate potential. The issue our organization works to address is the demand for high quality, extra curricular art instruction for our youngest artists in new orleans. Many of our campers are interested in pursuing a career in the arts. Our teen campers have expressed that art camp 504 has helped them pursue high school art programs and build a portfolio for nocca. We offer workshops that students cannot find in the traditional school art class. Our rising artisits scholarship program strives to make art education accessible to all students regardless of their income level. Our programs teach students visual and performing arts skills across a wide ra
