The organization follows the requirements for accounting for uncertain tax positions and requires management to evaluate tax positions taken by the organization. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the organization and has concluded that, as of december 31, 2023 and 2022, there are no uncertain positions taken or expected to be taken that would require disclosure in the consolidated financial statements. The organization is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress.”

THE LIBRARY STAFF STARTED THE PROCESS OF UNBOXING AND CATALOGING THE BOOKS AT THE SOMERS LOCATION. INTERLIBRARY LOAN AND LIBRARY SERVICES WERE BRIEFLY PAUSED FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR UNTIL JULY OF 2023. A REFERENCE MANAGER AND TWO LIBRARY ASSOCIATES WERE HIRED AT THE WISCONSIN FACILITY. THE COLLECTIONS STAFF FINALIZED THE PACKING AND PREPARATION, AND EXECUTED THE PHYSICAL MOVE. THE COLLECTIONS STAFF MOVED 41,486 ITEMS FROM THE BETEAU WAREHOUSE TO THE SOMERS LOCATION. THE STAFF STARTED THE PROCESSING OF THE COLLECTION FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. BOTH DEPARTMENTS, COLLECTIONS AND LIBRARY, CALCULATED THAT THE UNPACKING AND PROCESSING OF COLLECTION WILL EXTEND INTO THE SECOND HALF OF 2024. THE PMAC BUILDING WAS FINISHED AND OPERATIONS WERE TURNED OVER FROM CONSTRUCTION IN 2022. IN 2023 THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE FOCUSED ON SETTING UP OPERATIONS AT THE PMAC.
