The organization will primarily focus on assisting the most vulnerable of logan county, kentucky and surrounding areas, with an emphasis on providing relief to children, the elderly, and those suffering from drug addiction. Logan county is a rural area located in southern kentucky. As is common for many rural communities in the united states, logan county and the surrounding areas face widespread drug abuse related to the opioid crisis in this country. This drug addiction epidemic has had a significant impact on the community, burdening thousands of individuals, families, businesses, law enforcement, health care facilities and local government with dealing with the effects of rampant opioid use. The organization aims to combat the community effects of widespread drug abuse to help heal those suffering in logan county and its surrounding areas by making financial contributions to charitable organizations in those communities that aim to treat and rehabilitate those suffering from drug addiction. In addition, the rural communities of southern kentucky also suffer from significant income and wealth disparity. In logan county and surrounding rural areas, many individuals face substantial financial obstacles to provide for their families and to meet their basic day-to-day needs. These individuals, including seasonal farming workers and other low-wage earners, often have few job opportunities with upward economic mobility. The organization seeks to assist the poor and financially distressed by supporting charitable organizations that help individuals learn skills, find employment, and secure career opportunities. The organization will also support charitable organizations that seek to strengthen the economic health of the community through development and economic outreach. Through education, skills training, and career guidance, the organization will empower individuals and strengthen families. These services lessen the burdens of government, promote social welfare by lessening neighborhood tensions, and help bridge the wealth disparity gap. Furthermore, the organization will also make grants to charitable organizations that help children and families in logan county and surrounding areas cope with a variety of challenges. These charitable organizations provide (i) counseling and emotional support services to families and children, (ii) academic enrichment programs, and (iii) other services aimed at combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency. These programs help individuals and families in southern kentucky achieve fulfilling, healthy lives.”
