The executive director gets her income taxes prepared by the board treasurer. Also one of the board members is a financial advisor that advises the executive director on her retirement investments.

The finance committee will review and approve the form 990 before it is filed with the irs. Once it is reviewed it will be presented at a board meeting for approval and uploaded to our website for transparency.

The executive directors pay is set by the dwell board on an annual basis. Comparative positions within our region were utilized when deciding the necessary salary for this position, along with the experience and education of our current executive director.

All dwell employees are reviewed on an annual basis to determine if their pay is comparable and reasonable for their positions. The executive director does performance reviews with the employees at the end of the year. Prior to that time a recommendation is made to the dwell board, based on performance of the employee as to what their compensation will be for the following year.
