The mission of the sonoran studio foundation (ssf) is to inform and inspire people and groups to understand the importance of a sustainable, living future and the challenges that lie before us. Living buildings, as pursued through the living building challenge, is an extremely important strategy for transforming how people create and inhabit places of dwelling, working and gathering. Through volunteer efforts the ssf will inform and inspire through educational outreach including but not limited to: seminars, lectures, speaking engagements, literature case studies, white papers, websites, etc. And tours of the sonoran studio, slated to be the first certified living building in the sonoran desert. These activities will be conducted throughout the year on- and off-site. Projected time allocated to such activities are at least one tour per week and at least one other outreach effort per month. These activities will be funded primarily through donations of volunteer time and talent. Any fun
