Mission and Program Overview
Mission
The organization promotes social welfare by conducting research and providing legal services to affected communities and other stakeholders in order to end corporate violations of human rights and international law in areas of armed conflict and occupation.
The purpose of the organization is to promote social welfare by defending victims of human rights abuses and other violations of international law in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly those committed with the aid of multinational corporations. It does this by researching and building strategies for legal actions; filing lawsuits in courts around the world; training budding human rights lawyers in this field of law; and conducting research, disseminating information, engaging decision-makers, and conducting advocacy in order to advance the law, improve access to justice, and develop best practices to progress the field of business and human rights generally. In this spirit, the output of the organizations work will have a substantial impact beyond the interest of any immediate litigants and its policies and procedures are representative of the public interest.
