“Launched in april 2019, one small miracle sets its mission to provide financial assistance to those in the service industry who are experiencing an unplanned and life-altering medical event. With the shared experience of this same position, and knowing that these moments can happen at any time, without warning, one small miracle sees no greater time for communities to rally for those they hold close.”

“In cy 2019, one small miracle inaugurated its efforts to support members of utah service industries and their immediate family members, consistent with its mission and exempt purpose. Activities conducted during the launch year included: creation of infrastructure; promotion of awareness on issues impacting utah service industry workers and health emergencies; and fundraising activities to provide available funds to provide payments to beneficiaries.”

“Beneficiary activities during cy 2019 included: the solicitation of applicants for payments through the one small miracle web site, beonesmallmiracle.org; consideration of applications by the board of directors to determine merit and specific needs; and ongoing coordination with selected beneficiaries for receipt of beneficiary payments, using a cost-reimbursement model. The organization and its board members provided volunteer and non-monetary logistical support to external fundraising efforts consistent with its mission and purpose. In cy 2019, one small miracle assisted five (5) individuals through beneficiary payments.”
