College interns and high school leaders-in-training explore new interests together, host student-led events and perform community service projects, under the guidance of caring adult volunteers. Leaders-in-training will also participate in weekly one-on-one meeting with an adult mentor and academic tutoring. The youth leadership & healthy activities program provides immediate enrichment opportunities for high school youth at high risk of truancy, dropping out, and substance use.
