Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The organization will work to (a) educate and inform the general and public communities about the importance of public spaces, including parks, squares, plazas, and other public areas, in building and sustaining strong, healthy communities, (b) improve community conditions and foster and support civic engagements by developing and maintaining public spaces and providing community members, particularly those who are underrepresented or underserved, with the resources and skills to access and transform those spaces, and (c) foster, support, and conduct programs, projects, and activities consistent with the foregoing.
