| OUTREACH: To foster collaboration by organizing and attending large-scale outreach initiatives, Students With Psychosis hosted our inaugural annual conference in New York City and actively participated in and spoke at numerous conferences beyond our local in-person hub and affiliate locations. SWP'23 Conference: Students With Psychosis proudly hosted our SWP'23 Conference in New York City at 109 W 39th St, from 9 AM to 5 PM ET. The event focused on themes of intersectionality and academic accommodations. During this impactful gathering, SWP recognized outstanding advocates, facilitated panel discussions, hosted an art show and resource expo, conducted breakout sessions, and delivered keynotes and powerful testimonials. Most importantly, it brought together advocates and students from across the world, united by the mission to empower students living with psychosis. Please save the date: we are excited to announce Students With Psychosis' collaboration with the Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale University, and our SWP'24 conference will be held from October 18th-20th, 2024, hosted at Yale University. Additional Outreach: Students With Psychosis attended additional conferences within the United States in North Dakota and Minnesota. Outside of the United States, Students With Psychosis attended additional conferences in Canada and Austria. We thank the University of Vienna for inviting us to speak at the 25th Conference - The Subjective Side of Schizophrenia. We also thank North Dakota Health and Human Services for having us as the keynote speakers at the 2023 Behavioral Health & Children and Family Services Conference. Additionally, Students With Psychosis representatives attended the 2023 NAMIcon in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the Schizophrenia International Research Society 2023 Congress in Toronto, Canada. | $30,000 | $73,807 |

| LOCAL IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING: To better meet the needs of our students and advocates by developing local in-person hubs and affiliates, 2023 funding for local development was allocated to the following cities: New York, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; New Haven, Connecticut; Washington D.C./Baltimore, Maryland; San Francisco, California; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Columbus, Ohio. New York, New York: Besides organizing social gatherings, our New York City hub hosted the SWP'23 Conference and played a vital role in its success. The main project of the New York City hub, an art exhibit, premiered in person at our conference and is currently showcased on our website. Curating this art exhibit for the SWP'23 Conference in New York City involved submissions from various hubs and our global community members, providing our students and advocates with a platform to express their creativity and share their voices. This art exhibit is an ongoing initiative, and we look forward to seeing more installations in 2024. Boston, Massachusetts: Our Boston hub organizes social gatherings and has forged meaningful collaborations with Harvard/MIT. We bring lived experience perspectives into classrooms to educate students pursuing careers in mental health care. The Boston Hub coordinated bus rides and overnight trips to New York City for the SWP'23 Conference and New Haven for Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale. New Haven, Connecticut: Our New Haven hub's primary focus is its collaboration with the Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale, with several of our members actively participating on the conference planning committee. Students With Psychosis presented during the 2023 Women's Mental Health Conference at Yale and engaged with attendees by tabling and facilitating a banner signing during the networking and expo session. This collaboration is ongoing, and our members continue to serve as conference planning committee members and will host our SWP'24 Conference. Washington D.C./Baltimore, Maryland: The Washington D.C./Baltimore hub dedicates its efforts to fostering social connections through dinner meetups and visits to museums and monuments. Like our Boston hub, the Washington D.C./Baltimore hub coordinated bus rides and an overnight trip to New York City for the SWP'23 Conference. This hub played a pivotal role in capturing the essence of our conference, being responsible for the conference photo gallery found on our nonprofit website. Furthermore, the Washington D.C./Baltimore hub has maintained a strong affiliation with Mental Health America, actively participating in the Mental Health America Annual Conference held each year in Washington D.C. San Francisco, California: The California hub fosters community through social gatherings and demonstrates a commitment to collaboration by participating in outreach initiatives. Members of the hub attended the annual 2023 American Psychiatric Association Conference hosted in San Francisco, showcasing their dedication to staying informed on the latest advancements in the field. Collaboration efforts included a guest speaker presentation with NAMI Contra Costa and a connection with EPI-CAL Lived Experience Integration, which presented an academic poster at our SWP'23 Conference in New York City. Multiple California Hub members also flew across the country to attend the SWP'23 conference and participate in project and panel presentations. In 2024, we look forward to collaborating with Stanford University School of Medicine for a joint in-person community event. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: Our Pennsylvania hub coordinated a guest speaker presentation at Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Reflecting our ongoing collaboration with HeadsUp, an organization dedicated to advancing early psychosis care in Pennsylvania, Students With Psychosis served as a keynote speaker at their virtual conference in early 2023, while HeadsUp actively participated and tabled at our SWP'23 Conference in New York City. The significance of this partnership is underscored by our nonprofit's roots as a club at Pennsylvania State University, gaining momentum notably through our TEDxPSU talk. Columbus, Ohio: Our Ohio hub represented at the Ohio Program for Campus Safety and Mental Health Conference with Mental Health America. Notably, an Ohio hub member played a significant role by serving on the 2023 Mental Health America Youth Leadership Council and contributed to multiple panel discussions at the annual 2023 Mental Health America conference in Washington, D.C. Collaboration is a central theme for the Ohio hub, as evidenced by joint efforts with the Boston hub to deliver a presentation at Harvard Medical School. Locally, the hub organized an in-person game night at a local cafe, fostering community connections. During a field trip to New York City for the SWP'23 Conference, Ohio hub members actively participated in multiple panels and the keynote. The Ohio hub also managed the technical aspects of the conference, including editing media and loading slideshows on the event day. Looking forward, the Ohio hub is enthusiastic about sustaining its focus on media. A 2024 practicum project, in collaboration with Antioch College, will concentrate on podcast and media creation. | $22,500 | $10,198 |
