“See stories' programs were held with 155 youth, engaging them in digital storytelling podcasting. Each youth had an average of 30 contact hours through their see stories' program / workshop. See stories held these workshops with the following youth / groups / schools: 1) virtual film workshop at bettye davis east high school. 2) podcasting to transgress, a virtual podcasting workshop for alaska native teens in the northwest arctic. 3) lgbtq+ youth and allies film workshop. 4) three workshops with incarcerated boys at mclaughlin youth detention center, one in digital storytelling and the other two in shakespeare and hip hop. 5) kodiak social justice film workshop.”

“See stories teacher professional development courses were held with 144 educators around alaska, each engaging with ~100 hours of curriculum over the course of a semester in order to learn how to engage their students in podcasting and digital storytelling. We have hosted the following teacher professional development courses: fairbanks north slope borough school district teacher inservice training in digital storytelling (fbsbsd, 600), 2) podcasting and digital storytelling for alaska native and english language learner students (state of alaska department of education geerf 64,622), 3) teaching documentary film with primary sources (tps western region 20,000) 4) educator cross cultural immersion training (8000, alaska humanities forum), 5) creating indigenous curriculum to prepare for 2022-3 teacher professional development (dudley dougherty foundation, 15,000)”
